We have designed a facility that adds value to organic waste by leveraging Black Soldier Fly Larvae (BSFL) to produce animal feed and fertilizer for smallholder farmers, reducing the cost of production and boosting efficiency. This facility runs simultaneously with an aquaponics farming system where the fish are fed with BSFL from the previous process. The aquaponics system allows for the production of fish and vegetables at the same time. Our system will allow for food production in urban, high-density areas as well as in areas where access to water is a problem
