Kuza Africa is a for-profit social enterprise that seeks to transform rural communities and improve livelihoods through our guiding principle of “Food for Good.” Our Mission and Approach We want to create value chain ecosystems that work for the smallholder farmers. There is no shortcut or silver bullet that will solve for all the challenges farmers face today. We invest and work with other partners to reap maximum benefits for our farmers and stakeholders. Our Theory of Change If we develop value chain ecosystems for smallholder farmers then their incomes will increase because our research shows smallholder farmers face challenges of low productivity, poor postharvest practices, inadequate value addition and distribution.
